If you were dropped at the North Pole right after eighth grade, where you’d actually have to survive on the ice, chances are you’d try to make it through in English.
But would you really feel confident using the English you learned locked up in grammar rules?
Let’s be honest: By the end of 8th grade, there’s still quite a bit that needs sorting out in our heads!
So first things first—let’s boost your English to a confident level! One school year is just enough for that.
And after just one year, you’ll pass your B2 intermediate language exam with solid results. And here’s the best part: before you’ve even started 9th grade, you’ve already earned extra points for your future university application! Congratulations on your (future) achievement!
Wait—what? Hard to follow? Let me explain!
If you choose Comenius after 8th grade, you’ll spend a whole year learning only English—18 hours per week, with fantastic teachers, in small, conversation-focused classes. I promise: here, you’ll leave all your grammar confusion behind, and you'll be able to use tenses correctly and effortlessly. Your active vocabulary will grow by 2–3,000 words, and by the end of the year, your English will impress everyone around you!
And you know what? Here comes promise number two: while you level up your English, we won’t overload you with many subjects. Of course, you’ll also have some IT, Math, PE, and homeroom, but those are not demanding.
So your job is simple: learn to speak English confidently, with our teachers guiding you every step of the way!
This special year is the Comenius English Bilingual Prep 9th Grade, and once you’ve completed it, you can continue your studies at any school.
Or—you can stay with us at Comenius, and you won’t even need to reapply! If you stay, by the end of 11th grade you’ll proudly wave your C1 advanced language certificate, and the summer after, you’ll be ready to head to the Arctic to teach English to the Eskimos! They’ll pay you in fish and seal meat!
